About the event

When feeling depressed, anxious, or flooded with another emotion, it can be hard to remember (much less apply) the tools and strategies that can help us feel better. Creating a list of these strategies is a good idea. Creating an eye-catching, illustrated list is even better. Tape it to the wall or stick it on the fridge, where it can serve as a frequent reminder.

In this two-hour in-person workshop, interdisciplinary artist and educator Stephanie Watson will guide you step-by-step to create your own personalized list of coping activities, and offer strategies for sharing this tool with your patient population. You'll also learn additional drawing exercises that you can use in a clinical setting or group therapy. No previous drawing experience required! The vibe of this session is fun, nonjudgmental, and supportive. Two hours, in person, and worth 2 MN LCSW continuing ed credits. Course instructor is approved by the MN Board of Social Work (BOSW).
